A Tree Grows in Brentwood
Hagy Belzberg, architect, is fearless when it comes to tweaking the tenets of modern design. MLK Studio principal Meg Joannides took charge of furnishings and focused on the house's toughest space: the 900-square-foot living room with 16' ceilings. She stacked bluestone to form the backdrop for a Bristow daybed, Daniel Pollack tables and Helen Gifford's lighting fixtures to a culmination of high drama in an organic setting.
