The Philip Johnson Modern House
A rare entree to a private residence created in 1953 by the 20th century architect, Philip Johnson illustrated the adaptation of a mid-century house to today. Johnson's first commissioned work after the Glass House, he referred to the house as his "Little Jewel". Victoria Lyon Interiors brought the Philip Johnson House back to life with an interior designed for an imagined occupant who is both an art collector and architecture aficionado. While paying respect to the integrity of this historic structure, her design was executed through the collaborative efforts of contemporary artists, artisans, and designers.
