East Hampton

Designer Betty Wasserman heavily invested in aesthetic texturing for her clients' Modern Farmhouse in the Hamptons where the Northwest Woods meet Three Mile Harbor.

For the custom designed dining table, Wasserman commissioned a seven-foot long Upstream fixture in the Silver Lining version of Helen Gifford's signature Urchin series as a welcoming beacon of linear light.

Referencing the light juxtaposed against double-height trees, expanse of sky over miles of bay and a bicycle ride from the Atlantic Ocean beaches meant allowing for a myriad of textiles in a symphony of neutrals to arrive at a cohesive composition that represents all the natural elements in the home's environment.
