There are two ways to deal with the ocean, one is to let the waves leads (and you get bounced about and knocked over), and the other is to dive directly and head-first into them, to come out victorious on the other side.

And that's exactly what Ms. Gifford of HelenBilt did when presented with lighting the impressive and powerful foyer in this Oceanfront home. Seventeen Silver Lining fixtures cascade between two levels of the interior, suspended on a custom satin nickel finished canopy that mirrored the unique ceiling shape.

Her inspiration?

"The Ocean is graceful and yet, ultimately powerful; the buoyancy of this installation expresses that same sentiment."
